Lance Ganey creates abstract scenes that are simultaneously unconventional and strangely familiar. Working in acrylic and using a combination of layering, texturing, and sometimes-irregular spreading techniques, he produces landscapes that range from beaches and bays to deltas and farms. These breathtaking scenes are rooted in Lance’s upbringing on the Gulf Coast, where he was introduced to the arts at a young age by his parents. “For me,” he says, “these paintings represent the freedom, liberation and the unbound potential of a wide open horizon. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.”
