Growing up in Fairhope, Alabama, Elisabeth Hays was surrounded by the creative energy found in her quaint town. Elisabeth chose to return to her hometown after attending Auburn University to begin her creative career and apprentice under an established interior designer for four years. At that time, Elisabeth bought the business from her mentor and opened Lulu & Me. She honed her creativity at Lulu & Me designing interiors for clients’ homes around the Gulf Coast.

After almost 10 years of owning and operating her successful interior design and home studio, she was approached to sell her business. At what seemed the perfect timing just before the birth of her second child, Elisabeth sold her studio in early 2018 and turned her focus to a new venture, Elisabeth Hays Creative Collective.

Elisabeth Hays Creative Collective focuses on original fine art and her love for creating beauty in everyday surroundings. Elisabeth’s most recent collections are expressionist abstract art experimenting with mixed media to merge her love of textiles with her love of painting and abstract art.

Elisabeth resides in Fairhope with her husband, William, their two children, Mary Crider and Sam, and their white Golden Retriever, Grits.
