"Working in watercolor or acrylics, I try to define a sense of place or time. I enjoy the process of creating something from the reality of my environment. It is the struggle between what I see and what I feel in the studio that becomes the process by which the paintings come to exist in their own reality."

Jo Patton is an award winning artist who makes her home in Fairhope, Alabama. She received her BFA from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama and is a signature member of the Southern Watercolor Society and Alabama Watercolor Society.
